I never quite realized just how much body jewellery there was out there, from waist and thigh chains to anklets and arm cuffs, and how good ...
Yet another month has passed by and it's time for a favourites blog to appear. This is a bit of a mix of fashion, beauty and stuff, and all pretty related to the sunny weather we've been experiencing (hallelujah!)
1. Rimmel London Highlighter
This is one of my go-to products, even if I'm not wearing a lot of make up that day, I will still reach for my highlighter. I decided to try this brand as I have previously read so many positive reviews for it. After trying it, I can't fault it! This 25ml bottle priced at £4.99 (bargain I know!!) also comes in three different shades, I think I'm in love.
2. White Nail Polish
After reaching into my pot of the unkown that is my nail polish box, searching for a summery colour to paint my nails, I found some white nail polish, and thought why not! I have become obsessed! White is my new black (well for the summer at least). I think what I like best is how it is naturally bright and makes me look super tanned.
3. Pretty Little Liars
This isn't a new favourite of mine, I have been watching this show since the pilot of the first series aired and have been constantly hooked; but since its been back with yet another ground breaking series with some answers being revealed, but for every one answer given, ten more questions need to be answered, it had to go on my favourites list!
3. RiverIsland Sunglasses
I think this is an obvious one, more of a necessity due to the sunny weather we've been having. But what I like most about these sunglasses is their slightly cat eye shape, and the contrasting sides.
4. New Look Heeled Sandals
The main reason for these shoes being in my favourites, besides their colour, is their comfort! These shoes as super comfy to wear, which makes them perfect for one of those day to night outfits.
5. MaxFactor Waterproof Mascara
Everytime summer comes around, this becomes my summer mascara. It is by far the best waterproof mascara I have used! It does not come off in water! I would say, however, is that it is a little harder to take off in the evening, but it is definitely worth it.
6. New Look Watch >>Similar Here
This is a very recent purchase, for work actually. I'm not usually a watch person, but I've kind of fallen in love with it. I love the big clock, the rose gold floral design in it, and the thin white strap. It's an all in one.
I could go on forever about everything and anything I loved throughout June, and narrowing it down to six was hard but we got there!
What are you June favourites?

Yet another month has passed by and it's time for a favourites blog to appear. This is a bit of a mix of fashion, beauty and stuff,...
Seeing as I have recently returned to sixth form for my final year
before venturing into the big wide world. I thought I would do a little 'back
to school' post.
At the moment I have had quite an obsession over the houndstooth
print, which has recently grown on me very quickly. So it was agenising when it
came to finding the perfect houndtooth skirt for the upcoming seasons! Have you
had this much trouble? I scoured the
shops in hope of finding that one perfect skirt that matches the vivid image
created in your mind of how it will look on the hanger and on you. Luckily, I
came across this New Look skirt and fell in love! I will say it again, I love
this skirt! The shape and fit is perfect, as well as the notches to make it
very accessible to move in. The houndstooth print, along with the mini skirt
are trends set to take autumn and winter by storm! I think this purchase is
very on trend and should definitely get a lot of wear! It is also going to help
with the transition from summer to autumn.
So for today’s look I paired the houndstooth mini skirt with a plain
black crop top. This is because the main focus of the outfit is aimed at the printed
skirt. So by keeping everything else quite minimal, all the focus is directed
towards your statement piece.
However, I accessorized this look by adding a silver chain necklace
and several rings/midi rings. I further added a little colour in my nail polish
and opted for darker lips to suit the autumn weather.

Overall, I feel this outfit has a certain ‘back to school’ vibe.
Probably because in a sense it has quite a smart casual look going on. With the
mini skirt and top, a blazer would certainly add to that vibe and create a
perfect first day outfit.
I hope you have a lovely day and thank you for reading!

Seeing as I have recently returned to sixth form for my final year before venturing into the big wide world. I thought I would do a little ...
Considering summer is officially over and Autumn/Winter is set to
take its place, bringing in the cold temperatures and terrible weather, I
decided to try and wear a few summer pieces whilst I still could. Miraculously,
the weather decided to be kind and very warm. So when it was time to decide
what to wear for the day, I was drawn straight to my Vibrant blue Aztec print dress
from New Look.
I absolutely adore this dress for a number of reasons. Firstly, it’s very on trend and fashionable, considering it is a year old (they still stock it in stores), which brings me to my next point. The material is Cotton and Elastane, which makes the dress very durable and long lasting. It still looks brand new!
So for today’s looked, I paired it with a pair of New Look sandal
and black sunglasses. I further accessorized through my clashing nail polish
and lipstick colours, separating the look. This dress needs little accessories
due to the vibrant pattern, which I just love, along with how the colour stands
out!
Although you may think this dress cannot
recreate many 'different looks,' you would be wrong. It’s actually very
versatile and can be worn for several different occasions from day to night. It
can be used as a throw over on a day to the beach, or be styled with a pair of
gladiators/sandals for day. Or, if you were heading out in the evening, a pair
of black heels and clashing clutch bag will do the trick. Even in the winter,
it could be style with an oversized jumper.
Overall, I feel this dress
still has a lot of life left and I hope to continue wearing it throughout the
year, especially as vibrant blue is one of the many must colours for the
upcoming seasons.
I hope you are enjoying this weather too!
