Mademoiselle Privé exhibition characterizes the origins of Chanel. The exhibitions main features include Haute Couture, re-editions of the High Jewellery, 'Bijoux de Diamants' collection and the ever famous Chanel N.5 perfume.


This temporary two week exhibition showcased the work of Chanel over the three floors of the Saatchi Gallery. The further use of an app to navigate and provide information and videos, working as part of the exhibition itself through the digital age, made it that much more interactive.


Personally, I was a little disappointed with some aspects of the exhibition and the simplicity of it, along with the fact that it was constantly super busy.  So there was a lack of ability to just stand there and absorb everything.

In terms of the highlights, the jewellery collection was definitely my favourite. Consuming the second floor in dim lighting with beams of light focusing on the jewellery itself, made the overall aesthetic  all the more special.
